Finest Known is a private firm founded on a simple premise: If you collect and invest in true rarity and superb quality, you'll make money. My name is James DiGeorgia. I've been a collector, investor and dealer for over 37 years and I'm the founder and Chief Numismatist of Finest Known.

I started buying and selling coins as a child and opened my first rare coin dealership, Gem Coins, in 1976 when I was just 16 years old. Over the years I've bought and sold well over $100 million in rare coins. Along the way I increased my experience and knowledge by working as a numismatist for Bowers & Ruddy, Inc., North American Coin and Currency, Heritage Rare Coin Galleries, Rarities Group, Inc. and Charter Oak Numismatics.

In 1991 I accepted the editorship of the world renowned and fiercely independent Silver & Gold Report. During those years editing Silver & Gold Report I earned a reputation as an unyielding consumer advocate and helped investors avoid the common traps when investing in rare coins and bullion. I authored The Insiders Guide to Buying Gold, Silver and Rare Coins and was frequently quoted as an expert in The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Money magazine, The Chicago Tribune, and Barron's to name just a few.

Bottom Line: I will NEVER sell a rare coin I wouldn't put into my own collection. In fact every coin I offer is from my own collection. I love rare coins! This may not seem important, but it is.
